Among the French government ministries on the Left Bank, this historic complex is dominated by a tower that housed the first Chappe optical telegraph network in the 19th century and, more recently, the Administration des Lignes Télégraphiques.

The building now boasts 20,000 m² of first-class HQE® certified office space. The reception hall and services were updated and upgraded as recently as 2017.
